Frame Thrower^TM is a network attached real-time playback system for film and HD content that is designed to integrate smoothly into your production pipeline. It is a turn key system including both custom hardware and software to insure the best user experience and performance. It can be connected to your choice of display devices via dual link DVI or dual link HD-SDI depending on the model.

Unlike other systems, multiple users can simply and easily load frames onto the system using a web browser on their workstation, allowing them to be more productive with their time. Frame Thrower also provides administration tools over its web interface to easily manage the system and disk space. Frame Thrower reads frame based images and audio from either Windows, Macintosh, or Unix file servers using gigabit ethernet. It also has ports available allowing fibre channel, infiniband, or 10 gigabit ethernet connections for maximum performance.

A custom jog/shuttle controller is used for playback which makes Frame Thrower very easy to use and perfect for screening rooms. Very little training is required before users are up and running. Frame Thrower allows users to perform a wide variety of operations on the images during real time play back to insure they are of the highest quality.
